Here we are two weeks into 2018 already and training for this years marathons has begun in earnest.
2 x 100+km weeks in January signals the start of the training season as I strive for the consistency that was sadly lacking last year. When I glance at my Strava Training Log for 2017 I see lots of gaps and missed long runs when I was too lazy to get out in the cold and wet and run. This leads to my 2018 objectives.
- Be Consistent, Persistent and Resilient
This will be my mantra for training in 2018 as I look forward to the Perth marathon in June and the Perth City to Surf Marathon in August, and hopefully a smattering of other events throughout the year.
